Is my content sent to a server?
No. LasPlayer uses exclusively on-device AI for subtitle transcription and translation. Your media content is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it.
Why is my device getting so hot when running the 'Balanced' Transcription model?
The 'Balanced' model has a larger number of parameters. On its first run, it needs to be compiled and optimized specifically for your hardware. This requires a lot of computing resources and takes around 1-2 minutes. Once completed, the model will not compile again, unless triggered by a relevant iOS update.
